This is a unique opportunity to join a brand-new airport operation from the ground up, helping establish a safe, efficient and high-performing ramp operation from day one.

We are looking for safety-focused, reliable and operationally capable people to join our Below Wing Ramp Operations team across a range of positions.

Current opportunities:

Ramp Services Agent
Support aircraft turnarounds through the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo and mail, operation of Ground Support Equipment and a range of ramp activities.

Leading Hand
Provide hands-on operational support while leading and coordinating team members to deliver safe, efficient and timely ramp operations.

Ramp Supervisor
Lead the ramp operation and team to ensure aircraft turnarounds are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer and operational requirements.

All positions are Permanent Part Time (minimum average of 24 hours per week) and will be permanently rostered to night and early morning shifts across a 7-day rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Shifts are expected to operate generally within a span of approximately 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Shift start and finish times may vary according to operational requirements.

You must have the availability and commitment to work regular night shifts as part of your roster.

What you’ll be doing

Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:

• Safely loading and unloading baggage, cargo and mail.

• Operating a range of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

• Supporting aircraft arrivals, departures and time-critical turnarounds.

• Reading and executing aircraft load plans to support safe and accurate loading.

• Supporting aircraft activities including chocking, coning and hold operations.

• Handling and transporting cargo, including Dangerous Goods, in accordance with procedures.

• Working safely and efficiently to meet critical turnaround times and customer requirements.

• Maintaining a safe and secure airside working environment.

• Leading and supporting team members where applicable.

• Flexing across ramp and ground handling activities to support operational requirements, including performing duties at different classification levels, where required.

What we need from you

We are looking for people who demonstrate:

• Previous ramp, aviation or relevant operational experience.

• A strong understanding of airside safety and operational procedures.

• A strong work ethic and commitment to reliability.

• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• The flexibility to support changing operational requirements.

• The physical capability to perform manual handling duties, including lifting up to 32kg where required.

• Comfort working outdoors and in all weather conditions.

• A current NSW driver's licence.

• Fluency in spoken and written English.

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship.

• Willingness to complete all required aviation security, background and pre-employment checks.

Role-specific requirements may apply, including relevant leadership and aviation experience for Leading Hand and Supervisor positions.
