Remuneration: CPW2 ($66,416 - $69,504) plus 12% superannuation
Role Details:
Join the team in our Noarlunga office as an Access Worker or Support Worker to facilitate positive interactions between children and their birth families. As an Access Worker, you will supervise children and young people during visitations and record daily interactions to office teams. Additionally, the Support Worker will undertake research and enact appropriate measures to assist clientele with sensitive matters. You will accurately refer children and young people to beneficial support services, such as suitable government and community organisations. These diverse roles allow you to create beneficial change through compassion-led access and support work.
This is a single vacancy offered at a part-time capacity of 22.5 hours per week.
As an Access Worker, you will:
Arrange and coordinate access visits between children, young people, parents and carers
Enact suitable conflict resolutions strategies to mitigate conflict
Log incidents, hazards and injuries to maintain accurate reporting processes.
As a Support Worker, you will:
Manage sensitive matters of clientele by exercising precise response measures
Connect children and young people with valuable resources through committed research and networking endeavours
Provide administrative support and attend regular case discussions with DCP staff.

You possess high interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and understand the needs of clients
You can accurately pinpoint the issues that affect vulnerable young people and provide suitable improvement measures
You have exemplary networking and verbal communication skills to connect beneficial community service providers
You employ active listening skills when conversing with clients to effectively understand their needs
You showcase a positive attitude that welcomes inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in the workplace.

Special Conditions:
You must have a current Working With Children Check
You must have a current Australian driver’s licence (P2 or above) and a willingness to drive is essential.
