About the role
Role Status: Full-time temporary vacancy available until 5 March 2027
Remuneration: CPW2 ($66,416 - $69,504) plus 12% superannuation
Role Details:
Join the team in our Murray Bridge office as an Access Worker where you will support access visits for children and young people with their parents and carers. You will record these interactions to ensure effective advice is delivered to office teams and other suitable professionals. In this role, you will:
Arrange and coordinate access visits between children, young people, parents and carers
Oversee the safety of children during travel and meeting arrangements
Monitor and respond to negative behaviour by enacting conflict-resolution strategies
Record incidents, hazards and injuries to promote accurate reporting processes.

You possess high emotional intelligence when facilitating a positive environment for children to thrive
You will exercise precise judgment in understanding the issues that affect vulnerable young people
You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills

About DCP
The Department for Child Protection (DCP) plays a key role in the protection of children, young people and their families within South Australia. The department provides support to vulnerable children and young people to be safe, strong and connected.
Special Conditions:
You must have a current Working With Children Check
You must have a current Australian driver’s licence (P2 or above) and a willingness to drive is essential.
