About the role
We're looking for an experienced barista to join the team at Dunes at Beachstone. This is a key role for someone who genuinely loves great coffee, knows their way around a busy service and is comfortable taking ownership of the coffee section and leading from the front. You'll be working closely with our small team to build a coffee program that is consistent and quality-driven from the very beginning of a new business.
Key responsibilities
Dial in and maintain coffee quality throughout service
Lead the coffee section and help guide other team members
Work independently and make decisions during service
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation and consistency

About you
Solid experience as a barista in a busy café environment
Confident dialling in and maintaining coffee quality throughout service
Strong understanding of espresso, milk texturing and coffee extraction
Comfortable working independently and making decisions during service
Able to lead the coffee section and help guide other team members
Fast, organised and calm when the tickets start flying
High standards for cleanliness, presentation and consistency
Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys working with people
A team player who is happy to jump in wherever needed
