HME Maintenance Roles - Short Term/Casual/Fill In

We currently have multiple opportunities to join the Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance teams of our Tier 1 client in the Pilbara on a short-term casual basis.
 
The purpose of these roles is to safely and efficiently service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair heavy mobile equipment in the field and workshop, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability and availability to support operations.

• Mechanical Fitters - Component Rebuild
• Auto Electricians
• HV Electricians
• Site Electricians
• Boilermakers
• Light Vehicle Mechanics
• Tyre Fitters
• Drill Fitters
• Field Maintenance Technicians
• Service Crew and Lube Technicians
• Maintenance Supervisors - Mechanical and Electrical
• Maintenance Leading Hands
• Maintenance Planners and Schedulers
• Condition Monitoring and Reliability Technicians  

 
Key responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled servicing, planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and shutdown activities on heavy mobile equipment in accordance with OEM specifications and Company standards Conduct accurate inspections and assessments to determine component condition and serviceability
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, identifying wear patterns and root causes
• Provide feedback to supervisors, planners and reliability teams to support continuous improvement of maintenance strategies
• Complete all required documentation, inspection reports and job records accurately and on time
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality, within required timeframes
• Comply with all safety procedures, permits, isolations, risk assessments and work instructions
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, cost and efficiency
• Support training and mentoring of apprentices or less experienced team members when required
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment at all times

 
Experience/Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment within a mining or heavy industry environment
• Exposure to OEM maintenance standards, tolerances and quality assurance processes
• Required - Australian recognised trade qualification relevant to the position (or equivalent), or demonstrated experience for non-trade roles
• Required - Current WA C Class driver's licence
• Required - HV Electricians to hold a current WA Electrical Worker's Licence, with HV switching and access authorisation
• Required - Maintenance Supervisors to have demonstrated frontline leadership experience on a large-scale mining operation

 
If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance and pass a full medical.
