Product & GTM Lead – Betashares Education

Betashares Education is a purpose-led initiative focused on improving financial literacy across Australia through accessible, engaging, and scalable educational experiences. 

The Product & GTM Lead is responsible for defining the strategy, positioning, and operating model for Betashares Education and building it into a high-impact platform over time. Working across Marketing, Product, Content, Data, and external partners, you will identify priority audiences, shape educational experiences, drive distribution and engagement, and establish scalable frameworks for long-term growth and impact. 

This is a rare opportunity to build a nationally relevant education platform from the ground up. Success in the role will come from creating clarity in ambiguity, aligning stakeholders around a clear vision, and delivering measurable outcomes across reach, engagement, and financial capability.

Role Responsibilities 

• Define the strategy and go-to-market approach for Betashares Education  
• Identify priority audiences and develop scalable engagement pathways across varying levels of financial capability  
• Build and execute a focused roadmap spanning content, distribution, partnerships, and audience growth  
• Partner with Equity Mates and internal teams to shape educational formats, curriculum direction, and delivery models  
• Develop scalable distribution channels and partnership-led growth opportunities  
• Establish measurement frameworks across reach, engagement, progression, and behavioural outcomes  
• Collaborate with Product teams to improve how education is experienced across Betashares platforms  
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Content, and Data teams to deliver priority initiatives  
• Drive experimentation, optimisation, and continuous improvement using data and audience insights  
• Contribute to long-term brand trust and financial confidence through high-quality educational experiences

Key skills and experience 

Must-haves 

• 8+ years’ experience in strategy, programme leadership, growth, or go-to-market roles  
• Experience building and scaling zero-to-one initiatives, platforms, or audience programs  
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution  
• Proven ability to influence and align senior cross-functional stakeholders  
• Experience using data, experimentation, and audience insights to drive engagement and outcomes  
• Comfortable leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to improve delivery, scale, and operational effectiveness  

Nice-to-haves 

• Experience in financial services, fintech, education, or media  
• Exposure to partnership-led growth models  
• Experience building education platforms, learning communities, or content ecosystems  
• Experience working across both brand and product environments
