We’re seeking someone passionate about maintaining the best possible environments for children, with strong work ethic, attention to detail who is hardworking and dedicated. 

The work will include all forms of routine gardening, preventative maintenance, ad hoc repair work, painting & various other general maintenance works across 4 sites.

• Gardening & Maintenance Contractor - $35 to $40+ per hour + superannuation + fuel card

  • Full and part time available - minimum of 23 hours per week / 3 days per week up to 38 hours per week / 5 days.

  • Across 4 sites - Croydon Park, Salisbury, Holden Hill & Gawler
    

Essential requirements: 

• Your own equipment and tools of trade

• Drivers license & work vehicle

• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) 

• First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)

• Excellent communication skills to develop good relationships with children, families and staff. Ensuring every interaction with children, staff and contractors is positive and respectful

• Innovative, creative, positive and motivated 

• Proven hands‑on experience in maintenance, facilities, handyman work & gardening

• Confident using IT systems and digital tools that support efficient facilities operations

• Great personality with a professional manner and appearance 

• Comfort working both autonomously and enjoy being part of a positive goal-oriented team 

Highly desirable: 

• Previous/current experience in a similar role

• Trade Certificate or equivalent experience (desirable)
