Super Benefits Administration Pty Ltd (SBA) is a leading administrator providing critical management and administration services to an industry superannuation fund. We support the delivery of high-quality services and outcomes for members while operating in a highly regulated financial services environment.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Finance team.

This is a hands-on role responsible for month-end accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation and audit support. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, CFO and key stakeholders across the organisation, while contributing to process improvements and the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentary.

• Complete month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Prepare BAS and assist with taxation requirements.

• Perform fund, contribution, pension and member-related reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.

• Support year-end financial reporting and external audit activities.

• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with accounting standards.

• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting.

• Provide support to the Assistant Accountant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.

• 3–5 years’ relevant financial accounting experience.

• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel and financial systems experience.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

• Superannuation or financial services experience is desirable.
