Engineering Technologist – Mining, Construction & Technology

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technologist with exposure to both engineering and information technology systems to support mining, construction and infrastructure projects across Tanami, Alice Springs and other Northern Territory locations.

The role combines practical engineering support with the use of digital systems, technical data, asset information and technology-based tools across construction, commissioning, maintenance and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

-Support engineering, construction and commissioning activities on site.

- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

- Assist with equipment inspections, testing and troubleshooting.

- Maintain engineering data, registers and digital records.

- Support asset management systems and technical reporting tools.

- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, site teams and technology personnel.

-Support maintenance, shutdowns and project handover activities.

About You

- Willingness to travel and work at remote Northern Territory sites.

- Qualification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, IT or a related discipline.

- Experience in mining, construction, infrastructure or heavy industry.

- Exposure to IT systems, databases, asset management systems, digital reporting tools or engineering software..

- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to travel to remote NT sites.

Pay: $120,148.09 – $180,497.97 per year
