About the role
You'll be working on heavy diesel fleet vehicles with steady workflow and a team that backs each other. We're looking for a capable Automotive Technician who can diagnose properly, work safely, and get jobs done without constant supervision.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, driveline, braking, steering, suspension and cooling systems
Preventative maintenance and inspections for fleet customers
Fault finding using scan tools and hands-on testing
Complete job cards, notes, and service documentation clearly
Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
Work with other technicians to hit deadlines and keep quality high
About you
Qualified automotive trade (Cert III trade certificate)
Strong diagnostic ability (electrical knowledge is a plus)
Fleet or heavy vehicle experience preferred (buses highly regarded)
Current driver's licence (MR/HR ideal but not essential)
Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of outcomes
Safety-first mindset and pride in workmanship
3rd/4th year apprentices or light vehicle trades looking to upskill welcome to apply
