Banking & Finance Lawyer - In-House

Specialist financial services organisation is seeking a finance counsel to be based in its Melbourne office.This is a newly created position to be the company's first dedicated banking counsel.The company is achieving excellent results and is continuing to grow its institutional funding lines, with facilities backed by major banks and investors.You will advise on a wide range of matters including complex structured finance arrangements including mezzanine and warehouse financing, as well as general development and construction financing matters.You will work directly with senior stakeholders within the business including the Chief Investment Officer and be relied upon for your expert judgement on financing structures, alongside the support of top tier external counsel and an internal paralegal team.This is highly business facing position and you'll be excited to add value immediately to an organisation providing in-demand lending solutions to the market.
