About the Role...

We are seeking a Powder Coating Operator to join our team at our Lonsdale site.

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include.

• Set up and operate powder coating spray equipment.
• Ensure powder coating equipment is maintained and cleaned to the required standard.
• Prepare materials to be powder-coated, ensuring proper cleanliness and preparation has been performed before powder-coating application.
• Perform inspections, both visual and using a dry film thickness tester, to ensure correct coating quality and standards are achieved.
• Manual lifting of up to 20kgs

• Have relevant experience in a customer service-focused team and working to schedules/lead times to meet customer demand
• Have effective verbal communication skills
• Have high attention to detail and accuracy
• Be an enthusiastic team player and have the “Can Do” attitude
• Have a strong focus on quality and safe work practices
• Have proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Ideally, you will have had previous experience in a Powdercoating role; however, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are a must, together with the ability to work within a small, dynamic and multi-skilled team.

You must be reliable and self-motivated with the drive to take on additional tasks in a fast-paced environment to achieve excellent quality standards and customer service levels aligned with Alspec's Mission to be " WORLD CLASS IN ALUMINIUM DESIGN, DISTRIBUTION AND SERVICE".
