Equipment Compliance Officer

Due to continued growth, C2C Mine Maintenance is looking for an Equipment Compliance Officer to join our team.

This is a floating role working approximately three days per week on site and two days in town. The position will involve completing equipment compliance inspections and brake testing across a range of mining and heavy equipment.

The role would suit a trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or Motor Mechanic with mining experience who is looking to step away from full-time tools while remaining involved in the industry.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing mechanical compliance inspections

• Conducting brake testing

• Identifying and reporting equipment defects

• Completing compliance reports using our digital management system

• Communicating inspection results with clients and our internal team

• Working across both site and town-based operations

• Managing your workload and working independently

Full training will be provided, including brake-testing training where required.

About You

• Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or Motor Mechanic

• Brake Testing Ticket (Desirable)

• Previous coal mining, civil or remote-site experience

• Current driver’s licence

• Good mechanical knowledge and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable using an iPad and digital reporting systems

• Able to work independently

• Willing to travel to different sites when required

• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

Previous compliance or brake-testing experience would be an advantage; however, it is not essential, as training will be provided.
