HR Project Manager

• Contract until 30th June 2027
• Attractive daily pay rate $ 1224 per day + super
• Working 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid Work + Sydney office

Purpose of the role
Lead and deliver HR and workforce-related projects that support organisational priorities by ensuring effective planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and change management. The role provides expert project management advice to senior leaders, manages project risks and dependencies, and drives the successful implementation and sustainability of project outcomes.

Key accountabilities

• Deliver assigned HR projects end-to-end, managing scope, milestones, timelines, governance, risks and interdependencies to achieve agreed outcomes.
• Provide expert project management advice to senior leaders and sponsors, including clear progress reporting and evidence-based recommendations to support decision-making
• Establish and maintain project governance artefacts and controls, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, action logs and reporting, in line with NSW Public Sector standards.
• Engage and coordinate stakeholders across business units and external providers to progress deliverables, manage dependencies and resolve delivery challenges.
• Apply structured change management and communication approaches to support workforce related initiatives and improve readiness, adoption and sustainability of outcomes.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex HR or workforce related projects, including planning, governance, execution and reporting within a large or complex organisation.
• Proven capability providing project management advice and reporting to senior leaders and sponsors
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions, building effective working relationships to progress deliverables and manage dependencies.
