Breakfast/Night Chef

Moustache Wine/Espresso Bar is a well-established neighbourhood venue in the heart of Nobby Beach at The Oxley, with a loyal local following and a fun, close-knit team.

Two experienced chefs are needed to join the kitchen. The ideal candidates will bring a great attitude - reliable, positive, team-focused and ideally looking for a steady role they can settle into long term. Both roles require weekend availability.

BREAKFAST / PREP CHEF

Approx. 15-25 hours per week | Shifts between 6am-1pm

An experienced Breakfast / Prep Chef is also needed for regular morning shifts.

You’ll be confident working breakfast service, organised with prep and able to keep things moving efficiently during busy periods.

CHEF DE PARTIE - EVENINGS

Approx. 10-20 hours per week | Shifts between 5pm-10pm

An opportunity is available for a qualified Chef de Partie to join the evening team.

The venue operates from a small, open kitchen, so this role requires a capable, experienced chef who can work autonomously, efficiently and confidently. You’ll need to be organised, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership of what needs to be done to keep service running smoothly.

As the kitchen is open to the venue, being calm and composed under pressure is important. Strong communication and a positive, professional energy are equally important.

With shorter evening shifts of 3 to 5 hours, this is a great opportunity for an experienced chef looking for a role that fits around life outside of work. It could be perfect for a parent returning to the workforce, someone balancing other commitments, or simply a chef looking for consistent part-time hours without the late-night finishes.
