About the role 

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality learning and assessment resources for the Vocational Education Training (VET) sector. Working closely with clients, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders, you'll create learner-centered training products that are engaging, compliant and aligned with the latest Training Packages, ASQA requirements and industry expectations.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute beyond content development by influencing product improvements, supporting innovation and helping our clients achieve exceptional learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop learning resources, assessment tools and marking guides
• Create engaging learner-centered content for classroom, workplace and online delivery
• Ensure assessment materials comply with Training Packages, Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence
• Research industry trends and legislative requirements to maintain current and compliant products
• Conduct mapping, validation and quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with clients, SMEs and internal teams to develop tailored training solutions
• Manage version control and documentation across learning products
• Contribute to new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in project planning and meet agreed delivery milestones
• Respond to client feedback and implement product enhancements

Essential skills and requirements

• Experience developing accredited VET learning and assessment resources
• Strong knowledge of the Australian VET sector, Training Packages and ASQA Standards
• Experience working within VET and/or corporate training environments. 
• Qualifications in Learning Design, Training & Assessment, Adult Education or a related field
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience participating in validation and compliance activities
• Excellent instructional design and technical writing skills
• Experience designing engaging learner-centered content for multiple delivery modes
• High attention to detail and exceptional quality standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
