Chef De Partie

About the role

The Good Paddock at 11 Acre Farm is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a varied role, with shifts across both The Good Paddock restaurant and our Cubby Kiosk takeaway outlet. You'll have the opportunity to work across different styles of service, from restaurant breakfast and lunch to busy takeaway periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard

• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and service

• Work with seasonal, farm-grown produce

• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation

• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

• Contribute to menu development and the use of seasonal produce

About you

• Has at least 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen

• Has previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role

• Is confident working independently and as part of a team

• Has a strong understanding of kitchen preparation and service

• Takes pride in quality, presentation and consistency

• Works well in a busy environment

• Is organised, reliable and willing to get stuck in

• Has a genuine interest in good food and seasonal produce

• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a small, hands-on team

We are a farm-to-table restaurant and takeaway food outlet located at 11 Acre Farm in Forrestdale. Our menus are driven by the seasons, with produce grown on our own farm and sourced from local producers wherever possible. We value good produce, good systems and, most importantly, a good team environment.
