About the roleThe role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Painting and Decorating students!Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students.
About You The successful applicant will possess:Certificate III in Painting & Decorating (CPC30620) or equivalentFive years industry experience, post qualification gained within the last five yearsCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent, or, Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult educationExperience in an online classroom delivery setting and connected online learning environmentThe following skills are desirable for the position:High level of computer literacy with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel etc)Experience in airless spray and HVLP spray unitsExperience in specialty decorative finishes and wallpaperingExperience delivering in Corrective Services facilities (i.e. hold security clearances)
