How you will make an impact Cabrini Brighton is seeking an experienced hospitality trained Cook to support our Food Preparation team. You will work within a knowledgeable and supportive team in our large kitchen preparing quality food for our patients and for functions. This role offers plenty of variety
The position is part time (22.5 hours per week) and we are ideally seeking someone happy to be flexible with shifts. This is a great role to develop your skills and expand your career within a passionate, caring, experienced team. Key responsibilities include: Preparing bulk high quality and nutritionally balanced food and beverages efficiently and according to requirements Assisting with the general operation of the kitchen Stock control management and ordering Quality control and meeting food safety (HACCP) requirements Liaising with healthcare professionals in regard to patient dietary needs
What we're looking for: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Recent experience in a commercial or bulk cooking environment, preferably health or aged care A positive attitude and professional manner with the ability to work well under pressure Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards Excellent organisational skills and are reliable and flexible Cabrini offers: Tax savings
