Waiter/Waitress

We are looking for energetic and reliable team members to join our close knit team. Located on the banks of Lake Daylesford and with exquisite water views from any vantage point, Boathouse restaurant is one of the most iconic places in Daylesford. You must be able to work weekend and dinner service.

What we need from you

• Hospitality experience in fine dinning / hatted restaurant is required
• Must hold a current responsibility service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Must be able carry three plates & knowledge about silver service

About the Role

• To ensure that all guests needs are met or exceeded, and the service levels are consistent and efficient at all times.
• To be fully conversant with every menu item and to provide explanations if requested.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service including set-ups, tear down and food & beverage service on offer.
• Have strong knowledge of Food and Beverage menus and have ability to upsell menu items.
• To perform all tasks including cleaning, set-ups, packed down and other general service requirements.
• To ensure all service areas including all seating, bar and toilets are kept immaculate at closing.
• Availability to work weekends and dinner shifts Wednesday to Sunday
• Traineeship visa 407 can be offered to the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
