Blue Gum Landscaping Centres are a major supplier of landscape materials throughout the Lower Hunter, with three stores located in Maitland, Thornton, and Branxton. We pride ourselves on being the go-to destination for both trades and backyard warriors, offering a wide range of quality landscape supplies and exceptional customer service.
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Yard Hand/ Sales Assistant to join our team at the both the Maitland & Thornton Yards. If you are keen to learn all there is to know about landscape products this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Serve customers in-store and over the phone
Assist with loading customers and stock control in the yard
Provide friendly, professional customer service
Operate our computer-based point-of-sale system (training provided)
Assist customers with product selection and basic advice
Help schedule deliveries to ensure timely customer service
About You
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
Knowledge of landscaping products or experience in a similar industry is an advantage (but not essential)
Truck and/or forklift licence highly regarded
School leavers keen to start a career in the landscaping industry are encouraged to apply
