Chef de Partie

About the role

We’re looking for a skilled, reliable and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at The Vic Hotel Footscray.

Working alongside our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll rotate across grill, fryer, larder and prep, helping deliver smooth, consistent services across lunch and dinner. Grill experience is highly desirable.

You’ll have 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen, a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, strong knife skills and a good eye for prep, plating and detail.

Most importantly, you’ll be calm under pressure, work well with a team and take pride in what you put on the plate.

This isn’t a reheat-and-run kitchen. We cook properly, care about the produce and have a good time doing it.

Weekend and evening availability is essential.

• $70,000–$80,000 + super, depending on experience
