Metal / Mechanical Tradesman and or Skilled Trades Assistant

About the role

Tubeworx Australia is an engineering production company that manufactures and supplies custom tube and pipe assemblies for a broad range of Australian industries, including aerospace, mining, defence, OEM, automotive, construction and industrial sectors. We are seeking a Metal / Mechanical Tradesman or skilled Trades Assistant to join our dynamic workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with advanced hand tools and power tools

• Operate CNC machinery and tube bending equipment

• Work within a mechanical and production environment

• Work with hydraulic fittings

• Read and understand technical drawings

• Maintain high attention to detail in all work

• Adhere to safe working practices

About you

• Previous experience with advanced hand tools and power tools

• Experience working within a mechanical or production environment

• Knowledge of hydraulic fittings and ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail

• Highly organised with excellent communication skills

• Dedicated to safe working practice

• Forklift licence preferred

• Exposure to operation of CNC machinery and tube bending equipment is a distinct advantage

• Australian citizen or permanent residency status in Australia required
