We’re looking for an experienced Domestic Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team.
You’ll diagnose, service and repair household appliances across the Perth metropolitan area while delivering the friendly, professional service Hilton is known for.
Full-time position
Monday to Friday
7:30am–4:00pm

You’ll be given the independence to manage your jobs, diagnose faults and make sound repair decisions without being left on your own when you need technical or leadership support.
Our in-house development system provides structured training, coaching and genuine opportunities to progress into senior technician, mentoring or leadership roles.
You’ll work with strong leaders and an experienced support team who help with scheduling, customers, parts and those difficult jobs.

Diagnosing, servicing and repairing domestic appliances
Working on washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, refrigerators and other household appliances
Performing mechanical and electrical fault-finding
Clearly explaining faults, repair options and expected outcomes to customers
Completing accurate job notes, photographs and service documentation
Identifying required parts and managing van stock
Using company job-management software and mobile technology
Following workplace health, safety and electrical compliance requirements
Maintaining Hilton’s high standards of workmanship and customer service
Representing a trusted Perth-based service brand
Essential:
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing domestic appliances
Relevant appliance servicing qualification or demonstrated industry experience
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
Current WA C-class driver’s licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to use mobile devices and job-management software
Ability to safely lift and move appliances or components weighing up to approximately 20kg
Australian working rights
Police clearance or willingness to obtain one
A reliable, honest and team-oriented attitude
Nice to Have + $$$:
Certificate III in Appliance Service
WA Restricted Electrical Licence – Domestic Electrical Appliances
Experience repairing multiple appliance brands
Refrigerant Handling Licence for refrigerator sealed-system work
Gasfitting authorisation for gas appliance work
Manufacturer-specific training
Experience mentoring or training junior technicians
Senior technician or leadership experience
Competitive hourly rate based on your experience and capability
