Appliance Repair Technician

Appliances R US is seeking an experienced and customer-focused service technician in perth metropolitan with great interpersonal and communication skills to join their growing team. Immediate start.

The Position

This position is responsible for delivering quality repairs and a high level of customer service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Get hands-on servicing and repairing white goods such as washing machine, dishwasher, fridges, oven etc.

• Follow work health and safety practices to keep everyone safe and sound

• Engage with customers, providing them with expert advice on servicing outcomes and processes

• Management of van stock

Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or hands-on experience in repairing household appliances

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in appliance repair is required

Skills and requirements

• Prior experience in a service environment is highly valued.

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude—experience as a service technician is a plus.

• Proficient in the safe operation of hand and battery-powered tools.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg.

• Computer literate

• Valid Australian driver's licence with clean driving record required

• Car licence (C class) is required

• Must pass police background check

• Must be eigible to work in australia
