Storeman / 2nd Class Welder

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, storeman and 2nd class welder to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on hybrid role where your primary goal is simple: ensure every order is accurately packed and leaves the warehouse on time.

There will also be some basic fabrication work required depending on what orders we are processing.

Hours: 7am-3pm Monday to Friday weekday overtime can be negotiated

Pay: $36 - $45 per hour negotiable depending on experience and ability

Key Responsibilities

• Packing: Picking and packing orders, with some simple assembly when required.

• Order Accuracy: Check orders against the picking ticket to ensure zero errors.

• Fabrication: Basic fabrication done in a timely manner.

·        Reliability: You are someone who takes pride in showing up on time every day.

• Safety First: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, as well as safely operating all tools and forklift.

• Listening: Be able to follow the direction of the Factory Manager and ask questions when unsure.

Requirements

• Credentials: A current LF Forklift Licence is essential.

• Experience: Experience with MIG welding and cutting tools highly regarded.

• Leadership: Previous experience as a Leading Hand or Supervisor is highly regarded but not a requirement.
