Duty StatementThis role acts as the primary custodian of the activity plan and is responsible for the success of activities within the school. As the Senior Coordinator you will create, promote and execute school activities as part of an annual calendar including groups visits and tours. This involves both back of house coordination of suppliers as well as directly leading activities with students during weekdays, weeknights and weekends. Activities are generally opt in, can be free or paid and include small social gatherings on campus, local excursions, day tours and multi-day trips. Depending on the size of the school, and seasonal enrollments, this role may operate as a single person or perform as part of a wider Activities Team.

Key ResponsibilitiesReview student feedback, trends and data to create an annual calendar of events.Plan and execute activities with consideration of student satisfaction, attendance and risk management.Monitor expenditure, profitability and the allocation of set resources within budget and financial goals.Create and lead activities promotions including design, tools/channels, scheduling and prioritisation.Respond to student feedback, queries and cases as required to ensure timely, high quality service.Contribute to the school’s social media presence, online resources and new student welcome activities.Shares emergency on-call duties with other school staff on rotating basis, including some evenings and weekendsAssist with other tasks as required.
RequirementsExperience managing events, activities, customer service and/or tour guiding.Be outgoing, fun, energetic, warm and welcoming to help students get excited about our destination and build strong connections.Equally able to apply creativity and organization to your work.Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends to align with activities.A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) in the state of the school, or the willingness and ability to gain one upon commencement.A valid First Aid Certificate or the willingness and ability to gain one upon commencement.Native fluency in English is essential.Right to work in Australia is essential.Uphold all organisational processes and policies including our code of conduct and employee handbook.
DesirableUndergraduate degree desirable but not essential.Knowledge of any other languages will be considered as a plus.Driving license desirable.
