Leading Farm Hand Cotton, Grain Farm

We are a family run cotton and grain farming business located one hour west of Toowoomba. We are seeking a self motivated and reliable Leading Farm Hand to assist with the day to day running of the farm. This position also has the opportunity for the right candidate to progress into a management role.

Duties include operating GPS controlled row crop tractors and sprayers, operating John Deere cotton pickers and all field work associated with cotton and grain production, earth works, operating laser buckets and excavators. Repair and maintaining machinery, and general farm and irrigation duties. Mechanical experience is highly regarded.
The applicant must be able to work independently and in a team environment and have good communication skills. 

The position includes a 4 bedroom air conditioned house, with a school bus at the front gate and a work vehicle. 

Pay package is based on experience and above award rates.
