Farm Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our progressive cropping enterprise.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for modern broadacre farming. The successful applicant will play a key role in planning, managing, and improving all aspects of crop production while leading a small team and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

About us

Growth Farms Australia  is a progressive, performance-focused farming business responsible for managing the ‘Mulyandry’ aggregation, a large-scale cropping operation of approximately 4,583 ha near Forbes and Grenfell in Central West NSW.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage all cropping operations from planning through to harvest.

• Operate and maintain modern agricultural machinery and equipment.

• Supervise, support and co-ordination of farm staff and contractors.

• Monitor crop health, pest and weed control.

• Coordinate seeding, spraying, fertilising, and harvesting programs.

• Maintain accurate farm records and assist with budgeting and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements in productivity and sustainability.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a cropping operation with a focus on canola and wheat.

• Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills.

• Knowledge of crop agronomy and modern farming practices.

• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Current driver's licence (HR or MC licence an advantage).

• Chemical accreditation and relevant agricultural qualifications are desirable.
