Part-time Legal Secretary- IPIT

The role
 
We are currently seeking a Part-time (3 days p/w) Legal Secretary to join our IP, Technology and Regulatory practice in our Sydney office working with operators at all levels including partner.
 
General responsibilities will include

• Liaising directly with clients
• Drafting and amending relevant correspondence and documents
• Creating and lodging court documents
• Preparation of briefs
• File management including the opening, closing and archiving of files
• Monthly client billing and reports plus responding to billing enquires
• Personal assistant tasks (diary and travel management)

 
Requirements
 
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' legal secretarial experience in a similar role
• Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proficiency using Expert or similar accounting package and FileSite or similar document management system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of the importance of client confidentiality
• The ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
