Legal Secretary - Corporate

The Role
 
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and professional full-time legal secretary to join our Perth office within our Corporate team.  We are looking for someone who is able to use their initiative, who is proactive, and is capable and motivated to work autonomously. This role will involve:

• Liaising with clients and staff
• Preparation of legal documents
• Preparation of correspondence (emails, memos and letters);
• Monthly billing
• Opening, maintaining and closing matter files
• Diary and travel management
• administrative tasks including answering phones and recording messages

 
Requirements
 
To be successful in this role you will have:

• excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• a positive attitude and the ability to manage the workflow of multiple fee earners;
• intermediate to advanced computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Powerpoint, working knowledge of Excel, and a typing speed of 60+ wpm
• have experience using document management and billing systems (such as FileSite and Aderant Expert, or similar);
• strong organisational and file management skills;
• the ability to work well with others in a team environment;
• initiative and the ability to work unsupervised; and
• a minimum of two years' experience as a Legal Secretary;
