Optical dispenser

About the role

This is a part-time position working 3/4 days per week across our North Perth and Mount Hawthorn practices. Saturday availability from 9am–1pm is essential, along with flexibility to work across both locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who already has a solid understanding of optical dispensing and enjoys combining technical expertise with great customer service and a strong eye for style.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients select frames that suit their face, style and lifestyle
• Discuss and recommend lens options
• Take accurate measurements and place orders
• Frame adjustments and minor repairs
• Final fittings and collections
• Provide ongoing aftercare and personalised service
• Work closely with optometrists and dispensing team

About you

• Previous optical dispensing experience is strongly preferred
• Understand the fundamentals of dispensing and be confident working with clients independently
• Friendly, confident and professionally presented
• Experienced and comfortable discussing frames and lens options
• Passionate about eyewear, style and delivering an exceptional client experience
• Naturally personable and genuinely enjoys working with people
• Detail-oriented, organised and reliable
• Confident working independently as well as part of a team
• Comfortable working across both practices
• Available to work Saturdays
