Electrical Engineering Technician

Task Duties:

• Assist in the design, assembly, installation, and testing of electrical systems.

• Complete and develop electrical drawings (switchboard and line diagrams).

• Support the Installation, testing, maintenance and repair electrical control, wiring.

• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.

• Inspect designs and finished products for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards

• Perform troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

• Ensure compliance with Electrical Standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth system performance

About You:

• An appropriate level of physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy items

• Advanced diagnostic (fault-finding) skills

• Computer proficiency

• Positive attitude and hard-working mentality

• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly both written and verbal.

• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act

• High attention to detail and problem solving

• Have NSW Drivers licence

• Have Construction Industry Card (White)

• Ability to work to deadlines

• Work well in a team

• Able to use hand tools

• Ability to read drawings

• Have Working Rights in Australia

Qualifications and work experience:

Bachelor or above qualification with at least 1-year relevant work experience
