Hourly rate: $37.01 - $38.17 per hour (pending experience and responsibilities)

Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate educator for the position of School Based First Nations Education Liaison Officer to join the team at Holy Spirit College, Mackay. This is a term time continuing position for 30hpw, for commencement in Term 4, 2026 (6th October 2026).
The School Based First Nations Education Liaison Officer will service the educational mission of the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton by providing support to all aspects of Indigenous Education. In doing so, advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students together with their families, communities, teachers and college.

It is a genuine occupational requirement that this position be filled by First Nation peoples, as permitted and arguable under Section 25 of the Qld Anti-Discrimination Act of 1991. The successful applicant will identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
