RGD Corporation
About the role
About Us
RGD Corporation is a well-established wholesale supplier and manufacturer with an 80-year history of supplying practical, high-quality products into agriculture, irrigation, water, mining, and industrial markets. Agriculture is the core of our business, representing approximately 70-80% of our activity, supported by a strong irrigation and water product range that accounts for around 15-20%.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team based in Hazelmere, WA.
About the Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of our brand-new, 21st-century warehouse facility in Hazelmere. This is a rare opportunity for a capable warehouse professional to come into a modern operation and help shape the way it runs from top to bottom.
You will lead a small team, manage stock accuracy, coordinate receiving and dispatch, improve warehouse processes, and ensure the warehouse runs consistently with minimal day-to-day input from senior management.
The role will also include utilising and optimising our Vertical Lift Module (VLM) automated storage system and inventory management systems to improve stock accuracy, picking efficiency, warehouse organisation, space utilisation, and overall operational control. Your responsibilities will include:
Run the day-to-day warehouse operation and continue developing it into a reliable, efficient, and well-structured function;
Establishing, documenting, and continuously improving warehouse processes across receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, stock rotation, inventory control, and housekeeping;
Supervising, supporting, and training warehouse team members;
Managing stock receipt, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and order fulfilment;
Maintaining high levels of stock accuracy through strong inventory controls, regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigation;
Operating and optimising the VLM automated storage system to improve picking efficiency, inventory control, and space utilisation;
Coordinating freight options to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries;
Prioritising orders to meet customer expectations and delivery deadlines;
Organising, palletising, and storing stock received from sea containers;
Resolving issues relating to freight, stock discrepancies, delivery requirements, and order fulfilment;
Ensuring warehouse activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards; and
Assisting with hands-on warehouse and stores duties when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership. You may already be in a Supervisor or team leader role, or an experienced warehouse professional ready to step into a role with more responsibility.
Experience in warehouse, stores, logistics, or distribution operations, ideally in a supervisory, team leader, or hands-on warehouse leadership role;
Strong time management skills;
Experience with inventory management systems, stock control, cycle counts, and stocktake processes;
Current Forklift Licence;
Manual Driver's Licence is desirable;
Experience with warehouse technology or automated storage systems, or the willingness to learn;
Strong attention to detail;
Physical fitness and willingness to stay hands-on when the job requires it; and
Experience within agriculture, irrigation, water, industrial, or wholesale distribution will be highly regarded.
What we offer
A rare opportunity to help build a new warehouse operation from the ground up;
A modern, 21st-century warehouse environment with industry-leading technology, including VLM automated storage capability and inventory management systems;
All tools, systems, and support required to build a successful warehouse operation;
A stable, growing wholesale business with established customers and product ranges; and
The chance to make an impact on operational performance, customer service, and future growth.
