Truck Driver(MC); Metro & Regional Rosters

About the role

We are seeking experienced MC Truck Driver with the following attributes, primarily supporting Perth Metropolitan crane operations with opportunities for regional work. The role will involve the safe and efficient transport of crane counterweights, rigging equipment and associated equipment to and from worksites.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company prime movers and trailers

• Transport crane counterweights, rigging equipment and associated equipment between the yard and worksites

• Complete vehicle pre-start inspections and report defects or damage

• Ensure loads are correctly positioned, restrained and transported safely

• Assist with loading and unloading equipment where required and appropriately licensed

• Maintain clear communication with Operations, crane crews and site personnel

• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and professional condition

• Complete required transport, fatigue and operational documentation

• Comply with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, road transport and company safety requirements

• Support Metro and Regional crane operations as required

Requirements:

• Current MC Class Driver's Licence – HC as a minimum

• Minimum 2 years relevant heavy vehicle driving experience

• Experience operating prime movers and towing semi-trailers

• Sound knowledge of load restraint requirements

• Ability to complete daily vehicle pre-starts and associated documentation

Highly Regarded:

• Experience within the crane, heavy haulage, mining or construction industries

• Dogging / Basic Rigging Ticket (High Risk Work License)

• Construction Induction (White Card)
