Our privately owned and operated long day care service on Sydney’s lower north shore, is seeking an experienced Centre Director to oversee the service. The position is full-time and for immediate start.

Applicants must possess:

- Full working rights in Australia

- Current Working with Children clearance and all other mandatory certifications

- Thorough knowledge of childcare regulations, the EYLF and the NQF

- A strong focus on compliance, risk management and quality improvement practices

- Experience in the operations of a medium-size centre (75 places)

- Experience managing and rostering 20+ educators to always meet minimum mandated staffing ratios

- Experience with the Assessment & Rating processes will be well regarded

- Ability to manage enrolments to ensure high occupancy levels are maintained year round

- Ability to oversee the in-house kitchen to ensure quality meals and efficiency of operation

- Ability to build strong relationships with parents, guardians and wider community

- Ability to run a well organised office and efficient Centre administration

- A desire to spend time ‘on the floor’ with children and educators to maintain connection

This is a salaried position where the successful applicant will be required to attend to all aspects of the service to ensure its efficient operation and to maintain high standards in service delivery.
