Your role (TGSH RN)

The Good Shepherd Home’s (TGSH) Registered Nurses (RN)  provides high level clinical care to care recipients ensuring clinical, emotional and care needs are achieved in accordance with care plans. This includes ongoing assessment, formulation, implementation, evaluation and documentation of required care and care planning. In addition the RN supervises care employees and enrolled nurses with the provision of oversight, mentoring and supervision as required. The RN within TGSH is required to demonstrate a thorough understanding of clinical care in accordance with AN-ACC requirements.

Your role (TUH Interim)

TGSH Registered Nurses (RN) at the interim section provides clinical care; ensuring clinical, emotional and care needs are achieved in accordance with their care plans. This includes ongoing assessment, delivery, direction, evaluation and documentation of care. The RN provides supervision, guidance and mentoring to the care staff . The RN within TGSH is required to demonstrate a understanding of The Aged Care Quality Standards 

 Your skills & experience

• Bachelor of Nursing Science

• Endorsed by APHRA (essential);

• 1 years experience in acute care /Aged Care experience beneficial

• A good understanding of contemporary clinical practice and  leadership in a residential, acute care or a community setting;

• Great communication skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team;

• Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.

• The ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

• Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.

• Knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards 

• NDIS

• 24/7 roster

Employees of TGSH must qualify to work in Australia.  Successful applicants will be required to undergo NDIS Worker Screening Assess Clearance.
