About the role
Join Amaze – Create a more autism inclusive Australia
Exciting roles available in our Services team!
Multiple positions and locations available.
Amaze is a leading autism organisation working to create a more autism-inclusive Australia where Autistic people and their families can live their best lives. For nearly 60 years, Amaze has supported Autistic people, families and carers, while working to improve the systems, environments and organisational practices that shape Autistic lives.
With national reach, Amaze is home to Autism Connect – Australia’s national autism information, advice and referral service – providing free, trusted and evidence-informed support to people across Australia.
Through Amaze Inclusion, we work with employers, service providers, governments and community organisations to build capability and create more inclusive practices and environments across workplaces, education, health, services and other areas of community life.
Across our work, we provide information, advice, support and connection; increase public understanding and inclusion; influence policy and systems; and work with organisations and sectors to create practical and sustained change.
Our work is led by Autistic lived experience and informed by family and carer experience, research, practice evidence and the insights we gain through our direct connection with Autistic communities. This keeps our work grounded in what matters to Autistic people and helps us translate evidence and experience into meaningful change.
The Autism Advisor is a crucial position within our growing Services Team, delivering free, trusted and evidence-informed support to people across Australia. Reporting to the services managers, this position ensures that Autistic individuals, families, carers, and the wider community receive high-quality, evidence-informed information, advice, and referrals.
We’re looking for someone who:
Work with a passionate team driving positive change for Autistic people and the community in a modern and transport friendly office environment. Our culture values kindness, respect, and inclusion, with flexible working arrangements and neurodivergent-friendly practices.
Plus, you'll enjoy perks like:
Amaze respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our office is based. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and reflect on the continuing connection with Country and community.
Amaze is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. We proudly embrace people of all cultures, ages, genders, sexualities, abilities, perspectives and backgrounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
We are an Autism Friendly Employer, meaning we actively provide workplace adjustments and support throughout the recruitment process and beyond. Whether you need modifications to your interview process, accessible technology, or flexible work arrangements, we encourage you to reach out.
