About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSQA Officer to join our team in the pump industry in a part-time role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining health, safety, and quality assurance standards throughout our operations. This includes ensuring compliance with industry regulations, conducting audits, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting both production and service teams in delivering high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & SafetyMaintain health and safety policies, procedures, and systems.Maintain compliance through our internal systems, directly managing inductions, and incident investigationsFulfill the role of Safety Officer for any projects that Netco is involved with.Coordinate emergency preparedness (e.g. fire drills, high-risk rescue plans)Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and industry best practices.Facilitate training programs and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness among employees.
Quality AssuranceMonitor quality control processes across all facets of the business operations.Take responsibility for the maintenance and updating of our ISO system including Audit preparation.Fulfill the role of Quality Officer for any projects that Netco is involved with.Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001Collaborate with all departments in the business to identify and address quality issues.Assist in managing non-conformances, customer complaints, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).Maintain documentation for inspection, testing, and calibration procedures.
Assurance & ComplianceEnsure regulatory compliance with local, national, and international standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, API, etc.).Maintain documentation, records, and reports to meet audit requirements.Support certification and accreditation processes for the company.Stay current with regulatory changes and ensure procedures are updated accordingly.
Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, ideally within a project style business or a mechanical/industrial manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and quality regulations and standards.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with MS Office

Working Conditions:Combination of office, workshop and site environments.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
