Finance Manager

Company Description Hoselink is a proudly Australian, family-founded business. Since 1999 — starting with our famous No Leak, No Burst Hose Connector — we've grown into a full range of quality gardening and watering products, selling directly to customers across Australia and the United States. We're growing fast, and we're looking for a Finance Manager to own the numbers behind our Australian business.
Role Description This is a genuine step up for a senior accountant ready to move into a Finance Manager role — you'll get the title, the ownership and the CFO's backing to grow into it. Reporting to the CFO, you'll own the finance function for our Australian business end to end: keeping our books accurate, our reporting sharp and our compliance tight, while overseeing our outsourced processing team. Just as importantly, you'll be a true business partner to every team across Hoselink, turning the numbers into insight that helps each department make better decisions and own their budget. You'll be one of two country Finance Managers, working alongside your US counterpart, with the CFO focused on group strategy and growth.
What you'll Do ● Own the Australian month-end close and deliver accurate, timely management accounts● Manage AU statutory reporting, BAS/GST and tax, with our external accountants and auditors● Own cash flow, reconciliations, balance-sheet integrity and internal controls● Oversee our outsourced processing team (AP/AR, payroll) to clear service levels● Business-partner with every team — marketing, product, operations, procurement, warehouse, customer service and commercial — helping them understand and own their numbers● Partner with the CFO and department heads on budgeting, forecasting and business decisions● Find the better way — improve and automate our finance processes as we grow
What you'll bring● CA/CPA qualified (or well progressed) with strong senior-accountant experience● Ready to step up into a Finance Manager role — you've owned a month-end close and want the next challenge● Strong Australian tax and statutory knowledge (BAS/GST, payroll, super)● Experience managing or overseeing outsourced / offshore processing● A natural business partner who builds trust with non-finance teams and makes the numbers meaningful● A hands-on, systems-savvy, improvement-minded approach● Clear communication and a genuine, collaborative style
