About the role
The Barista is responsible for preparation and serving café food and beverages, EFTPOS transactions, setting up and cleaning the café as well as replenishing stock. The barista must ensure that all tasks associated with food production are performed with due regard to Kosher Principles, Food Safety regulations and work, health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
Serve food and beverages / barista duties to residents and family members
Handle EFTPOS transactions (where required)
Clean and maintain cafe areas
Replenish supplies and stock
About you
Minimum of 2 years as a Barista in either Aged Care, Restaurant or Café
Food Handling Certification required
Positive work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude
Team player with a strong focus on teamwork and building relationships with residents and family members
Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
Evidence of working rights in Australia
