Estimator

Bushfire Control Pty Ltd is one of the leading manufacturing firms in Australia, we are an established Australian based Bushfire Protection company that designs, engineers, manufactures and installs specialty fire shutters, fire windows, doors and screens.

We currently have an opening in our Residential Sales team for an Estimator specialising in Bushfire protection products. This position will develop and present pricing submissions in a professional manner combined with liaising with key clients on tender follow-ups and ultimately being highly driven to support the Sales Team and business development opportunities.

You will be working alongside our existing Estimators and assist to manage and maintain a database of quote/tender submissions so familiarity with BCI, Estimate One, Bid Contender (Oracle), Aconex or Cordell platforms would be highly regarded. Communicating effectively and efficiently with clients, coordination with other disciplines and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders from conception through to the handover of the project is critical. 

High computer literacy is required, specifically using the MS Office Suite, but also the ability to navigate different databases and platforms effectively such as Zoho, CRM and NetSuite. 

This position would suit someone from the construction industry with estimating / tender / sales experience, though Product specific training will be provided for the right candidate.

Must Haves

• Cert IV in Building and Construction (Estimating) OR Diploma of Building and Construction OR Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field

• Experience in the sales and construction industry

• Minimum of 3 years of prior experience 

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
