The OT Collective
About the role
The OT Collective is a boutique, mobile paediatric occupational therapy service delivering OT to children and their families in their home, school and community across Tamworth and surrounding areas. We're a small, close-knit team of enthusiastic therapists committed to collaborating with children and families to enhance their engagement in day-to-day activities and life experiences — while making sure our team finds joy in the work and maintains genuine work-life balance.
We're growing, and we're looking for a passionate, creative Occupational Therapist to join us.
Conduct assessments and therapy sessions directly with children aged 0–18, delivering individualised treatment programs across a range of developmental levels.
Prepare treatment plans and activities to achieve meaningful goals and outcomes for your allocated caseload.
Support clients, families and key stakeholders to help each child reach their full potential in a way that is meaningful, holistic and evidence-based.
Document client progress and provide feedback to the broader therapy team to help refine treatment plans.
Actively participate in interdisciplinary learning, with opportunities to attend professional development sessions and build insight into different therapy approaches.
Work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.
Deliver services in the community — homes, schools and preschools — with the flexibility to work from home when you're not with clients.
Flexible work — choose your own hours and days. Part-time or full-time is negotiable, and work-life balance is genuinely a core value here, not just a line in an ad.
Above-award wages, travel allowance, and an allocated work laptop and phone.
Therapy start-up kit, plus ongoing access to the team's shared resources.
Continuous professional development, both internal and external, tailored to your interests, with regular supervision from your senior.
Work from home on your admin and planning days.
Diverse caseload — predominantly paediatrics, with the opportunity to work with adults too, if that's an area of interest.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy & current AHPRA registration
Current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current CPR & First Aid certificates
Professional indemnity and other relevant insurances
Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to client-centred, family-focused care
Flexibility to work across different settings — home visits, school visits, community visits, and work-from-home
Prior paediatric experience is a bonus but not essential — we're just as interested in your enthusiasm, values and commitment to families as we are in your years on the job.
If you're an OT who wants meaningful work, a team that actually backs work-life balance, and the autonomy to build a caseload and schedule that fits your life — we'd love to hear from you.
