Tarte Pty Ltd Tarte Beach House in Currumbin have an excellent opportunity for a full time Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure stock levels are adequate and assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service flow, including during busy periods.
• Assist in training and mentoring colleagues.
• Adhere to portion control and minimize food wastage.

Applicants for this position should:

• Have relevant tertiary qualifications
• At least 1 years relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality cafe.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle a high-volume environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Creative flair and a passion for high-quality food presentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
