We’re continuing to expand our presence across Australia and are looking for an experienced Store Manager to take the lead at one of our stores.

The Role
  
As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of your store and play a key role in creating an environment where customers receive exceptional service and your team has the support and direction to succeed.
  
You’ll be at the heart of the operation, balancing people, customers, product and performance every day.
  
From helping a customer discover a new wine or premium spirit, to coaching your team, managing stock or driving sales, you’ll have a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
  
You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing retail team
• Creating a welcoming environment where customers receive knowledgeable and personalised service
• Building strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat business
• Driving sales, profitability and overall store performance
• Taking ownership of commercial targets and identifying opportunities to grow the business
• Managing day-to-day store operations, including rostering, labour, stock and merchandising
• Maintaining high standards across store presentation and customer experience
• Ensuring the store operates in line with liquor licensing requirements, company policies and safety standards
• Managing stock effectively and maintaining strong inventory controls
• Supporting promotions, tastings, events and other in-store initiatives
• Creating a positive team culture built on accountability, support and high performance
• Developing your people and helping team members grow their product knowledge and confidence
• Leading from the front and setting the standard for service, presentation and professionalism
• Taking full ownership of the store and treating it like your own business

About You

You’re an experienced retail leader who knows how to bring people together, create energy on the floor and deliver results.
  
You may come from liquor retail, wine, premium retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment. You understand that successful retail is about more than hitting a sales target, it’s about creating an experience that keeps customers coming back and a team that takes pride in what they do.
  
You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience managing a retail team, preferably within liquor, wine, hospitality or a similar environment
• A strong track record of achieving sales and commercial targets
• Proven leadership and people-development skills
• A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead by example
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine focus on customer service and experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence managing stock, labour, rostering and store operations
• An understanding of liquor compliance, safety and operational standards
• A passion for wine, premium spirits and great products
• The ability to create a positive, motivated and accountable team culture
• The energy and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
