Shop Assistant / Cashier

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Shop Assistant / Cashier to join our team at a well-presented supermarket in Balgowlah Heights.

About the role

The role involves a variety of day-to-day supermarket duties, including:

• Serving customers and operating the checkout

• Restocking shelves and maintaining a neat, well-presented store

• Receiving deliveries and unpacking pallets

• Assisting with general store duties as required

• Providing friendly and helpful service to our customers

What we’re looking for

We value attitude and reliability just as much as experience. Ideally, you will be:

• Friendly, approachable and customer-focused

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• A good communicator with a positive attitude

• Well-presented and able to work well as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment

Previous supermarket or retail experience is preferred, but we’re also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

As the store includes a liquor department, applicants must be 18 years or older and hold a current NSW RSA certificate.
