As our Start Strong Navigator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how support reaches students who need it most. This is a newly funded opportunity to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of The Gordon's Wrap Around Services initiative, helping students overcome barriers, stay engaged and build brighter futures.

This is more than a student support role. It's an opportunity to create meaningful change across an entire organisation, build innovative support pathways and influence student success outcomes at scale. You'll work alongside passionate educators, wellbeing professionals and community partners to ensure students receive the right support at the right time.

About the Role

You'll be the driving force behind our Start Strong initiative, enabling early intervention, case coordination, referral pathways and service integration activities which improve student engagement, retention and completion outcomes. You'll combine strategic thinking witha practical person-centred approach, ensuring support systems deliver real impact for students across their educational journey.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the operational implementation and continuous improvement of Wrap Around Services
• Coordinate complex student support cases, interventions and referral pathways
• Provide specialist advice and guidance regarding student wellbeing, retention and engagement practices
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, external agencies and community service providers
• Monitor program performance, analyse outcomes and identify opportunities for service improvement

About You

You're someone who sees both the individual and the bigger picture. You understand complex support needs, enjoy building collaborative partnerships and know how to turn strategy into practical outcomes. You're confident leading through influence, navigating complexity and creating solutions which genuinely improve people's lives.

You’ll bring:

• Degree qualification in Community Services, Psychology, Education, Youth Work, Human Services or a related discipline
• Significant experience in complex case coordination, stakeholder engagement, policy interpretation and specialist support practice
• Experience leading or coordinating complex student, wellbeing or community support programs
• Strong case coordination, stakeholder engagement and service navigation expertise
• Ability to identify service gaps and implement evidence informed improvements
• Excellent analytical, reporting and problem solving capabilities
• A passion for improving outcomes through collaboration, innovation and person centred practice

Salary Range

PACCT 6 | $90,069.00 + Superannuation
