• Location: Parramatta with access to hybrid working arrangement
• Full time temporary opportunity until 30 June 2030 (35 hours per week
• Salary from $154,231 to $178,369 pa. + super and annual leave loading

Your role

 

As Project Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Murdi Paaki Project and housing upgrades delivered in partnership with Aboriginal Community Housing Providers (ACHPs). The project focuses on improving Aboriginal housing and delivering better outcomes for tenants and communities across the region.

 

You will lead project planning, delivery and reporting, while building strong relationships with ACHPs and key stakeholders. You will manage risks and competing priorities and provide advice to ensure projects are delivered effectively and align with the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) priorities.

 

What you’ll do

 

• Lead the delivery of the Murdi Paaki Project and related initiatives, including the planning, design, implementation and reporting of complex projects and deliverables.
• Lead a team to deliver project priorities and outcomes.
• Apply best-practice project management methodologies to deliver high-quality and effective outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal Community & Housing Providers, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
• Provide strategic, evidence-based advice and project updates to senior leaders.
• Prepare project reports, budgets, status updates and discussion papers.
• Attend and contribute to key governance and stakeholder meetings.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities to support successful project delivery.

 

What we’re looking for

 

We are looking for an experienced project professional who can confidently manage complex projects, competing priorities and a range of stakeholder relationships. You will be collaborative and able to bring people together, build strong partnerships and drive projects through to successful outcomes.

 

You will have strong communication, stakeholder management and problem solving skills, with the ability to provide sound advice and work effectively with senior leaders. You will also be committed to delivering projects that contribute to positive outcomes for Aboriginal people, families and communities.
