Content Creator

About the role

We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Content Creator to develop engaging content that promotes our electrical services, strengthens our brand, and generates customer enquiries. This is a full-time position based at our office in Port Adelaide, South Australia, with regular on-site work at client locations across Adelaide to capture content.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish original marketing content (photography, videography, graphics, and written copy) showcasing the company's electrical projects, services, and team.

• Manage and grow the company's social media presence (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn), including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and responding to enquiries.

• Develop and execute content calendars and digital marketing campaigns aligned with business goals and seasonal demand for electrical services.

• Produce short-form video content, including before-and-after project showcases, educational electrical safety content, and behind-the-scenes footage from job sites.

• Write and edit website copy, blog articles, email newsletters, and promotional materials.

• Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, and report on engagement, reach, and lead generation to management.

• Manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g. Meta Ads, Google Ads) within allocated budgets.

• Maintain and update the company website and Google Business Profile to support local SEO.

• Coordinate with electricians and management to identify content opportunities and ensure all content complies with licensing, safety, and advertising standards for the electrical trade.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing

• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) and graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)

• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills

• Experience with social media analytics and paid advertising platforms

• Ability to work independently and visit job sites across Adelaide (driver's licence preferred)

• Experience marketing trade or construction services will be highly regarded
